Best news of the year by far!! I have been working on applications to the Australian Federal Government Medicare Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) for public funding for rTMS treatment for depression since 2013. They have now published the outcomes of the latest review which recommends public funding!! This will open up this treatment to many many more patients. There is still work to go until implementation in late 2020 or 2021 but it is fantastic we have made it over this hurdle.
